lo and behold... it's 5 years since the 5 of us, Grace, Giselle, Cappy, Michiko and I went on a girl's night out to celebrate michi's bday... and here are the details of the event:

Pre-party
Cappy and Giselle were supposed to come to my place at 1800H.... as expected, they didnt arrive on time.. w/c in turn got us late for our meeting w/ michi at her place at 8.. and as expected Mich wasnt completely ready even though we got there late. i left my Hyundai Elantra (w/c michi loved cz its the exact replica of Galv's) and we all took michi's car so we can chitchat and so i can be spared fr. driving.. hehe.. we had to pick Grace up from Jerry's Grill, Libis from her family dinner.

The Dinner at Cosway
Cosway, for the info of those who are not familiar, is a Chinese Restau along the stretch of Libis. Not as fastfood as Chowking but defnitely not as shala (a gay term i learned from michi, meaning sosyal/classy) as Li Li.
Now i've never been a fan of Chinese food, but the food was great, i especially liked the seaweed dish, the crab roe dumpling and their tea. However, if you're pretty and sexy like us (haha, no seriously) you might not want to over dress for the place coz the service crew are so goddam pathetically impolite- no Rude! Like they've never seen a woman in their entire lives... i mean, the crew of Jollibee are more polite.

Party at Embassy
We arrived at Embassy, The Fort if im not mistaken, a few minutes before the stoke of midnight. our ride was parked not very near to the venue, then we joked on how we should've been there at 8 so we couldve gotten a better parking - aw... it's so HS! the night turned out great, even though i almost got a pick up from some foreigner, and Grace got a dance invitation from... haha--some loser! we saw Dyan Flores pla there also. after much dancing and getting wasted, we decided to leave at around 3am.

The desperate search for Starbucks
it's almost always that we go for a cup of coffee after a gimik, and this ritual haven't changed. and this time, because of my loyalty to Starbucks because of that planner..
So we searched the branch in the fort... while listening to Spice Girls' "Stop"... aw, how sweet! The Starbucks in the Fort... CLOSED..
Fine, there's one in Greenbelt 3.. so we were able to find a parking across BSA mansion (hmmm..).. it's near Greenbelt alright, but not exactly near when u've been dancing all night on tall heels right? We got there, got happy too coz a lotta people were still having coffee... but alas on the door, we find a sign saying: "CLOSED"... Deym... Strike 2! since we're in Greenbelt already, we decided to check out Absinth also, but at past-3am, things were beginning to mellow down also, we therefore resumed to our pursuit of coffee.
But we don't give up easily... there's a lot of branches all over Makati, and there's one in 6750.. and when we got there, it's open!! since it's late in the night (rather, too early in the am) we can park outside... jst as we were parking, they posted a sign on the door: CLOSED. what?! strike 3?
for this, we decided to go to the branch along SLEX, but we took a wrong lane and went straight along EDSA instead of taking a left to SLEX. we were forced to find some other alternative.. i thought of the Adriatico branch in Malate. goin there, btw, coming from Makati, we passed by Dasma and Torre Lorenzo branches w/c were both CLOSED.

anyway, we got to the Adriatico, Malate branch.. and guess what...it's OPEN!!! at 4:30 in the morning, our road trip finally paid off and i'm 4 stickers closer to my 21-coffee goal! (giselle hates dairy products!) haha!

Post Party

After our coffee talks, we arrived at Michi's house in Acropolis, Libis a few mins after 6. i got my car and drove the rest of us to my house. when we arrived, dad and his biker friends were all ready to get out for yet another road trip.. and we were jst ending our day!!! or were we? after that, it was Cappy, Giselle, Gwacee & me again in my room.... and just like a deja vu, we had our spill-a-secret part II talk. of course the contents are secret.. (duh!!) but it brought us even more closer.. hay!!! i love those girls!!!

Gimiks in planning:

• December, for our xmas get together: 2-piece swimming party @ Johr's house. Rule #1: we must all wear 2-piece suits... this came about from an envy of other barkadas in 2 piece... start shopping for a sexy suit girls, and if possible, a sexy body too w/ matching confidence! haha
• January: Gracee's Bday- Prince of Jaipur, the Fort, where the crowd is younger! haha...

This is what friendship is all about. I love you Sisqo!!!!!!
