Pa-rent-ing II

while i was on-line yesterday, mom sends an SMS and asks for a place we can go to for a couple of drinks. i suggested Metrowalk. well anyway, mom said dad wanted to go out. she told us to get ready by around 10-11pm since they will be coming from a meeting.
since we are tired, we decided to rest first. i fell asleep on the couch reading a book, but had my alarm set at quarter past 9. i did wake up to the alarm, and i did wake my sister up. but then i fell right back into sweet slumber. deym!
ding ding ding!!! i was awaken by the wild sound of our doorbell. they're home!!! and i'm dressed in a shorts, w/ a messed up hair and droopy eyes!
i apologized for over-sleeping then rushed to get ready, i wore a plain white sleeveless top. and then jessi borrowed my plain white tee. ok, now maui emerges in plain white spags... what? matching outfits?
so there, we dressed up and went out.. we decided to go to Eastwood where else but our friendly neighborhood gimik place.
We bumped into Clint & the rest of the IVS boys there.
We had the very delectable Dencio's sisig along w/ some beer and cocktails from Fuzion. Mom decided she wanted pasta so she bought a sampler platter from Fazolis . the night out was basically some quality time with the family.. wow... it's so fun to bond w/ them. it's moments like these that i really treasure. when u drink w/ ur dad and ur sisters and u talk about anything under the sun. not every family has the luxury of time to do that.
i feel really blessed. :) i bought 2 new shirts btw, again.. deym!
