what've i been doing?!

i haven't committed suicide yet. although i've been invisible to the blogworld, i'm still very much alive. i'm just busy with work.. 10-14 hours is my average work-time. but then again, if you have a work like mine, who needs a social life?

Last week:

day 1: The Posh Dinner: oysters, steak and creamy polenta @ The Fireplace.

day 2: The Sugar High: chocolate mousse, black forest and panna cotta a la chef erwin with reina

day 3: Screw Driver til you drop: Cocktails with government accounts, pictorials w/ loni and maynard

day 4: Toast 2006: Wine Tasting at the Rockwell Tent.. i love that Arbor Mist Peach Chardonnay and Strawberry White Zinfandel

day 5: It's a Sisqo thing: vodka and the long-over due Champagne and vodka overnight with the girls

- shopping... the food for the former-depressed soul. and oh boy! i bought this really chic jacket! now this is not something i would usually get for myself on a regular day.. but hey, i deserve every penny that i spend on myself.

- bonding with granny. lunch at dencio's gateway then we saw Click.. sniff sniff... lovely movie.. something we can all learn from

- Aug 29: welcome to the world, Juan Luis...! :) my baby brother meets world. syet pwede ko na syang anak!

- Back to being a workaholic biatch.... preparing so much for that Wedding Expo Bridal Fair.. which was a success!!! grabe, i'm so enriching myself with the wedding industry. sige lang extend your connections. ang sarap ng pralines

- i've gone back to reading... i've finished reading that book i started last summer and i'm a third on this book i'm reading now. yesterday i spent the day just lounging at room 2239 of hyatt, just reading Anne Rice while eating my chocolate truffle cake (grabe so sinful!)

- i'v started working out again. well not really work out, some crunches and push ups here and there... healthy? not all together. sometimes i get so caught up in work i forget or am too tired to eat... consequently, i turned back to my old friend mr. winston.

- i'm on sex and the city marathon... thanks to trish and her dvd roll. i'm loving 'em and learning so much about love, relationships and uhm.. sex?! haha

-my favorite LSG is back in the philippines. and he gave us twix! can't wait till the next LSG party. (next friday) i'm sure may gimik nanaman after the cocktails

- in general, i think i'm doing good. i've done so many things with my time now. i'm positive that i'm ok. my only problem is that my boss won't allow me to take 2 consecutive days off for that trip im supposed to take.. fine, i'l take one day off.. then papasok lang akong super bangag the next day, bahala sya..deal with a super caffeine-high, bangag employee. i'm not missing that trip. not for the world.

-another thing.. i hate my hair.. as in.. it's long, dry, plain... it's driving me crazy. after payday i'm going to indulge and spend a day in a salon...
