the sh*t is B-a-n-a-n-a...

Meet the parents... after work the other day, Martin texted me. It was past my work hour (w/c supposedly ends at 6pm) but I was still in the middle of work. He invited me to dinner with his parents at Cibo in Gateway Mall. In a moment i tried to finish all that is pending and went straight to Gateway. Ate Chari also brought her boyfriend "to meet the parents". After dinner Martin, together with his parents and younger sister, Marrah took me home. I like his family, especially ate Charisse, I just hope they like me too.

me and my baby... in our "place"

He might not know this but he's marvelous.. simply powerful.

The way he kisses me when I'm upset, how he hugs me when I'm angry (even with him), he takes all my burden away. How he always try to make me laugh even though he knows I'd ridicule him, and how he tries very hard to come on time, to take me to the office, to do favors for me even if they are out of the way. How he always tries to pleasure me even when he knows that i'm virtually insatiable. How he never gets tired of my rantings. How he can be very adorable and baby me even when his friends laugh. The way we have funny, little arguments about some irrelevant things and know that we'd laugh about it. How he listens to my stories and not judge me for my past; how he puts up with my adventurous side even if sometimes i get too adventurous; and how he is able to make me watch those korean chick flicks that i swear i'd never be caught dead with. How i can be my sweet or nasty or bossy or naughty self when I'm around him and how he held on when i gave up.

He might not know all these but everything he does, no matter how big or small is appreciated... I just don't show it everytime. I hope he knows it... and I want to thank him for his gift of friendship.. and that i love him so, very much..

PS... I love his ass! and it's mine! ;)

parang joke no? pero totoo yun. alam nyo naman ako.. si iyakin. syempre iyak ako sandali dahil hindi ako makapag trabaho ng hindi nakapaglalabas ng sama ng loob. bakit kaya may mga taong ginagamit ang kahinaan nila upang ipanlaban sa mga taong normal? at kailangan ba talagang gumamit ng masasakit na salita habang nakikipag usap ng propesyonal? ngayon tanong ko sino ang hindi propesyonal? i ask you, is it proper to say "fuck" over a professional phone call? if only i wasn't an intellectual being and following by my company's standards i would've cursed this idiot back-mind you i'm good at that- but no.. i tried to continue this fucked up conversation with that low-life who wouldn't want to hang up anyway. walang manners amputa! at insensitive daw ako at mahina makipag communicate... c'mon.... kung kilala nyo ko yun ba ang sasabihin nyo tungkol sa akin? marunong akong lumugar noh!

Eventful Saturday

Mood: Monday Bloody Monday
Location: Hyatt

Last Saturday was Lola Lyn's 70th birthday party, incidentally, it is also my first wedding in Hyatt as a part of the events team..... How's that for a conflict?

And so to make the long story short, I filed a change of shift from 0900-1300 to 1500-1900H. Btw, the 70th b-day party commences with a mass atop the chapel of Vista Linda at 1830.

I arrived at the venue, ahem, in Antipolo, a little over 9PM. Mom had a reunion to attend to and so she needed the car that I brought. Her appointment was 9PM so she was calling me incessantly while in transit. I was driving in 4th gear going up on a hilly slope mind you.

At the party, while I was having my dinner, later than the rest, my Tita Gilda interrupted me and asked me to start the program…. I was like…. Uhm… hello?! What are we talking about here? I remembered my aunt asking for my help in the program about a week before.. I told her I’d help out with the preparations and all. We never got to it because of our schedule differences. Now, she’s asking me to ‘carry out’ the program.. ahem.. as the Master (mistress?) of Ceremonies… and mind you, we never even outlined the program at all!

Well, it didn’t need a lot of persuading to get me up on stage, we were desperate. I didn’t have an actual programme, but I had a lot of coaches... all my titas... grabe ang gulo. but then again we were able to pull it through and the guests congratulated me after the program for a job well done... akalain mo yun, naka-bola pa rin ako!

that is another addition to my resume in hosting. i've had 2 debuts, 1 wedding and now this. I was not born totally talent-less afterall. That was something i could do in a drop of a hat... ahem, with certain conditions though....... 1) we have to be really, really, really desperate.. 2) i have to know the celebrant.. hehe

With EJ at Lolyn's 70th Birthday Party

EJ is my 2nd degree cousin. such a sweet little kid. i just wish he was 17 years older and that we're not related. he can speak more eloquently and is more gentlemanly than most guys i know. he asked me to dance-and it's waltz! such a cutie!

ahm... wala lang... wala na...

Martin's Bday and Hyatt

Mood: Exhausted to the EXTREME
Location: Office

Martin's Birthday

Before the stroke of midnight, the eve before Martin's birthday, he sent me a text message and invited me to have dinner with his siblings the next day (April 30) to celebrate his birthday. The next day I met up with him at the chapel of PGH at about 5 in the afternoon to hear mass and then have dinner with his family at Chef D'Angelo at Rob Place Ermita. I finally met the Banez siblinghood. After dinner he took me home in far away Marikina.

Well, for once in a looooong time i felt loved and cared for, and Marts' sister, Ate Charisse is the sweetest thing.

But well, I didn't dwell too much at that moment.... I knew it wouldn't last.

Hyatt

I started my work at Hyatt Hotel and Casino as an Events Coordinator. The week passed quickly and many things happened.. Well, administratively. I pretty much do similar things as I did when I was in my training, handling corporate and social events within the hotel.

It's ok and i'm turning into a workaholic. It's almost 8 and i'm still here. When I get home i go straight to bed to so I can get back to work early for the next day.

Tomorrow i have a wedding to attend to... and alas.... it's my grandmother's 70th birthday party... and it's in effin' ANTIPOLO......!!!!! I have to stay at the hotel til 7pm..... so what am I gonna do? Fly? Hindi ako si Darna noh! But basically im ok with it... It's just that my dad has a problem with it. haaaaaay... I'm so torn.
